With over 25 years of experience, I work with adults and older teen girls navigating anxiety, marriage and relationship struggles, women’s issues, sexual abuse recovery, narcissistic relationships, parenting challenges, and adoption-related concerns for adoptive parents. Clients often describe me as direct but tender, firm but warm. I believe therapy should be both honest and compassionate. I will support you, challenge you when needed, and help you better understand the patterns, wounds, and relationships that may be keeping you stuck.
Philosophy and Approach
My approach is relational and psychodynamic, grounded in the belief that we are wounded in relationship and also healed in relationship. Because of that, the therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of the healing process. I also draw from Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in my work with couples.
My practice is faith-based, but clients do not need to share a particular faith background to feel welcome here. I meet people where they are and respect each client’s individual story and beliefs. If you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted from unhealthy relationship patterns, or simply longing for growth, therapy can provide a place to begin.

My specialties include marriage counseling, adoption and infertility issues, femininity, sexual abuse recovery, parenting, and anxiety disorders.
