Rachel Blackston, M.A., M.Ed.

Background:
Rachel is a registered mental health counselor intern and Director of Marketing and Career Development at Grace Clinic Christian Counseling. She sees clients in the Winter Park office as well as the Daytona Beach satellite campus. Rachel has been counseling since 2001, having earned her masters of education in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis on career development, from James Madison University. She also earned her masters degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Rachel specializes in helping clients with career development and job search issues, codependency, women’s issues, gender Identity, and marital struggles.

Originally from Maryland, Rachel received her undergraduate degree in speech communication and public relations from James Madison University. Prior to pursuing seminary training in mental health counseling, Rachel served as a career specialist at her alma mater and the assistant director of Career Services at University of Central Florida. She was also the director of Vocational Development at Reformed Theological Seminary. Rachel loves spending time with her husband and friends, traveling, running, bargain-hunting, and exercising her creativity around the house (from home decorating to cooking).
