Debbie Miller, M.A.
Background:
Debbie Miller is a registered mental health counselor intern and Director of Conferences, Seminars & Retreats for Grace Clinic Christian
Counseling. She sees clients in the Winter Park office and the Dr. Phillips satellite campus. Debbie holds a masters degree in Counseling
from Reformed Theological Seminary. In addition, she has over 8 years of experience in emotional healing as a trained and certified prayer
counselor and instructor. Debbie specializes in helping clients work through issues of codependence, sexual abuse recovery, marital struggle,
and trauma. She loves to integrate her experience in inner healing prayer, art therapy, and bibliotherapy with traditional counseling
approaches.
Originally from Maryland, Debbie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland. She also completed graduate courses in Biblical Studies from The Kings Seminary in Van Nuys, California. Debbie moved to Orlando with her husband and their six pets while she was a consultant to the public sector in the area of recycling and solid waste management. She finds that the lessons she learned from the garbage industry are often remarkably appropriate to the process of healing and Christian transformation, with God as the ultimate salvage artist. Debbie enjoys engaging in all kinds of creative activities, such as collage and print-making, jewelry design, cooking, knitting, and writing.
